NDIS funding pathways

The right pathway depends on how the participant's plan is managed. MyQRMed is a Registered NDIS Provider and can support all three where appropriate.

  • Plan managed: submit the NDIS order request and nominate your plan manager. MyQRMed sends the invoice to the plan manager. The product is dispatched once payment is received.
  • NDIA managed: submit the NDIS order request with the required participant details. As a Registered NDIS Provider, MyQRMed can support the NDIA-managed process where appropriate.
  • Self managed: order and receive a tax invoice or receipt for your own claiming and records.

Five-star customer review via Trustindex. Great product. Highly recommend. Have already used it multiple times to alert services of my disability and medications.

Five-star customer review via Trustindex. We purchased the QRmed band a while ago. It is amazing. So simple to upload or change your medical details for the QR code. No longer does my husband have to remember everything about his stroke, medications he is on etc. It has given him peace of mind. We have been supported by the company and they respond to questions promptly. Such a good investment.

NDIS ordering questions

MyQRMed is a Registered NDIS Provider and can support plan-managed, NDIA-managed and self-managed order pathways where appropriate. Some participants may be able to order using NDIS funding where the product relates to their disability support needs, plan goals and available budget; funding is not automatic or guaranteed. Products may be considered under Core — Consumables as low cost assistive technology, commonly using item code 03_090000911_0103_1_1. Low cost, low risk assistive technology generally does not require an OT assessment, quote or prior NDIA approval, but the item must still be suitable for the participant and meet NDIS funding criteria. For NDIS order requests, payment is handled through invoice or claim processing rather than standard retail checkout. A plan manager may ask for more information or decline payment if they believe the item does not align with the participant's plan, funding, goals or NDIS requirements.

MyQRMed can help make selected information easier to access, but it does not provide emergency care, clinical assessment or medical advice. In an emergency, call 000. NDIS funding is not guaranteed. Suitability depends on the participant's plan, goals, budget, evidence and circumstances.
