First Nations and Aboriginal organisations

Paramedic-designed
MyQRMed was developed by a registered Australian paramedic with frontline experience across Australia, including remote Northern Territory communities.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can MyQRMed support First Nations communities?
MyQRMed provides QR-enabled medical IDs that allow important health, medication, allergy, emergency contact and support information to be accessed quickly when needed. This can be especially helpful for people living with chronic conditions, taking multiple medications, travelling, or receiving care across different services.
Who are these medical IDs suitable for?
MyQRMed may be suitable for community members, Elders, NDIS participants, aged care clients, people with chronic health conditions, people who take regular medications, and anyone who may benefit from having important health information available in an emergency or care situation.
Can organisations place bulk orders?
Yes. First Nations health services, community organisations, support providers and care teams can submit a bulk pre-order request. MyQRMed will review the order details and issue an invoice for payment. Products are dispatched once payment has been received, with dispatch expected from late June.
What information can be added to a MyQRMed profile?
Users can add information such as medical conditions, medications, allergies, emergency contacts, doctors, support contacts and other notes they choose to include. The profile is user-managed, meaning the person or their authorised representative can update the information when needed.
